Black lacquer, gold hardware, lucite, Scandinavian wood. These are some of the baby nursery materials you’ll be seeing when the Pottery Barn Modern Baby Line goes live at PotteryBarnKids.com and Pottery Barn Kids stores in mid-July. The fresh, new baby line is high-style, designed for the modern glam fam(ily) looking for something upscale and chic.
Home design style preferences have evolved over time, with modern design taking the lead over more traditional styles. Pottery Barn’s new Modern Baby line is a perfectly curated collection that meets the needs of today’s new parents who want something more urban and elegant for their little one.
The collection will come in five nursery aesthetics, all based on contemporary minimalism. Black and white, graphic patterns and tailored lines will take center stage.
“The new collection melds the quality and craftsmanship of Pottery Barn Kids with modern, minimalist design,” said Allison Spampanato, Senior Vice President Product Development, Pottery Barn Kids. “The Pottery Barn Modern Baby collection of nursery furniture and decor launches with five distinct aesthetics, from Art Deco to natural, that encompass the philosophies of modern and contemporary design.”

Pricing will range from $24 to $999. The line includes items like lucite cribs, exotic wood humidifiers and black high-gloss changing tables with gold hardware.
High-gloss lacquer may sound like a bad idea in a baby’s room, but all the pieces in the Pottery Barn Modern Baby line will be eco-friendly. All wood and upholstered furniture is Greenguard-certified for low to no chemical emissions. The bedding is made of 100% organic cotton.
We’re looking forward to the lucite baby crib. What do you think about Pottery Barn’s new collection? To keep updated as products are announced and for the official launch day, follow us on Facebook or sign up for our newsletter below:
