Jill’s Tips on Making your own Piping Bags:
1. Use a freezer plastic bag – they are sturdier
2. Use tape to reinforce bag before cutting.
3. Use a thicker frosting to get a more defined design. (see below)
4. Place a rubber band at top of bag to keep frosting in the bag.

Buttercream Recipe:
1 Cup butter (room temperature) – 2 sticks
4 Cups powdered sugar (depending how stiff you need the frosting)
2 – 4 Tablespoons milk
2 teaspoons extracts or flavor syrups
Beat butter until it begins to look whiter. It should be silky looking.
Slowly add the powdered icing sugar 1/2 Cup at a time.
Keep adding until you get the consistency you want. Add the milk and the extract. Blend until the consistency you want.
Store in the refrigerator up to 2-3 weeks.
