Decorating with Color – Living Room Design Ideas from Lamps Plus

When decorating our homes we all get stuck for design tips. So, we here at Lamps Plus, https://www.lampsplus.com/, thought it would be a fun to take a small living room and change out the lighting and home decor to show you how you can get three distinct looks.

We started out with a room that has a neutral color palette which is accented with crisp white trim. We have a neutral tufted sofa with classic nail head trim and matching cocktail and end tables.

Our purple room has a softer look. We achieved this by focusing on easy updates like the purple table lamp (https://www.lampsplus.com/products/table-lamps/color_purple/), art work, pillows, and an area rug. Just like the previous room, the main focus is on one color.

The red room is all about spice and flare. Again, the focus is on one color, red. All we did was add a red table lamp (https://www.lampsplus.com/products/table-lamps/color_red/), area rug and accessories.
