It’s been awhile since I’ve done a DECORATE WITH ME on my channel, so I’m happy I get to share how I’ve decorated our home for this summer season! I tried to keep things fairly simple and neutral, which means that a lot of this stuff will transition really easily, even when summer comes to an end. I’m really happy how each of these rooms turned out and I love the new and fresh feels that the simple, streamlined home decor brings to my space! I hope that you enjoy this video!

Some Home Decor Tips:
1. Simplicity – goes a long way! Choose decor that is simple and neutral, so that it’s all cohesive and easy to add a few pops of color here and there.
2. Capsule Decor – When buying new decor, ask yourself if it is an item that will be enjoyed for years and if it is something that can transition between seasons.
3. Change Up Easy Items – blankets, pillows, curtains, rugs, candles, wreaths and wall decor are easy ways to give a room a new look for the new season.
4. Use Inexpensive Items for Outdoors / Shop Your Space – I like to find my outdoor decor from the Target Dollar Spot, Good Will or Garage Sales. I also like to use the indoor decor that I don’t have a spot for anymore, but also don’t want to sell, outside.
5. Sell Unwanted Items – and buy new items with earned money!
